I’m Kayla McCauslin.

I'm the sole DevOps engineer at Annexus Health, a remote-first healthcare startup helping patients access financial assistance faster. I keep our infrastructure in code, our Azure costs in check, our pipelines fast, and our releases uneventful — which is exactly how releases should be. Most recently, I built AI tooling that pre-reviews every pull request in Azure Repos before a human reviewer picks it up.

My background is in QA. Years of building test automation at UPMC Enterprises and then Annexus taught me that the fastest path to quality software is automating everything that slows it down, so I moved from testing into DevOps and haven't looked back.
